CityLAB Detroit

The Atlantic, The Aspen Institute and Bloomberg Philanthropies will once again convene preeminent mayors, city innovators, urban scholars, architects, city leaders, artists and innovators to address the future of metropolitan areas. CityLab 2018 will feature presentations, field trips, tutorials and roundtable conversations among these leading minds to advance the bold, scalable ideas and solutions they are using to transform metro centers around the world. This year, CityLab will take place in Detroit-- a city synonymous with financial collapse and persistent inequality while also embodying how opportunities can be created for all.
